@JMS13579 as you say your limited understanding of the 08 crises – inside job explains it clearly – somehting mainstrem media nevr even tried to do – inside job by chris ferguson won many awards including the academy award- but is hard to find for free these days -it has ben wiped from 100s of sites – the last 1 i know of is found by gooling – the other school of economics inside job. well worth watching

@JMS13579 You seem confused with the meanings of a free market , and capitalism they are 2 different entities?

  3. JMS13579 says:

@MrIzzyDizzy 08 was caused by REGULATION: government sponsored enterprises fanny may and Freddie mac were given special deals by the government in an attempt to create cheap housing for all. The rest of the housing market followed their trend because they had to to stay in business, the would have never all done such an idiotic risk if the federal government hadn’t basically put them out of business if they didn’t do so.

  4. 69oneear says:

@JMS13579 We actually destroy large amounts of food because of over abundance, so as to keep the prices higher. Why do people always put the blame of our problems on one man, Obama is probably the best president since Jimmy Carter or Kennedy, we the people have to take responsibility of the shit that goes on, I didn’t see anyone except the poor Dixie Chicks protest government when the Iraq war started? Time to start pointing the fingers at our selves>

  5. leanlifter1 says:

@JMS13579 There is not enough gold to represent USAs debt to china let alone its Net debt.

  6. leanlifter1 says:

@JMS13579 The monetary system in and of itself is a Ponzi scheme and no amount of Ron Paul reform can change the fact that intrinsically money at is purest form is flawed. Ron Paul sells nothing but Snake Oil.

  7. MrIzzyDizzy says:

@leanlifter1 – it was caused by greed abd fraud of banks and finacial companies and rating agencys – working to gether to package cdos(especialy full of subprime mortgages and student luans) as triple a investments – then after selling them betting against them with credit default swaps, so you have the fruad on three fronts – rating subprome debts as triple a – selling them to investors even though you dont belive in them – and betting against them so heavily they collapsed aig

  8. JMS13579 says:

@leanlifter1 Yes thats because it is impossible to have true comunism, I know its not proof but the book animal farm by Orwell does a really good job of explaining why under a communist system someone greedy will always put themselves at the top, it just doesn’t make sense as a theory, there is no incentive to work hard if you receive the same benefits for being lazy. Thats the key part of capitalism’s success.

Ron paul wants to (re)tie money to gold, meaning it would be worth something.

@JMS13579 We do not have the resources to live like they did in the 50’s, we are 7 billion people now, A good chunk of our resources have already been stripped from north and south America. We are basically the only 2 continents left which supplies the rest of the world with raw material.Europe was ravished of its resources centuries ago, in fact had the Europeans not come to America, they surly would have perished long ago

  10. 69oneear says:

.The only real natural commodity left on the other side is oil and natural gas in Siberia. This is why it is so important now, to take better responsibility of what we have left, cause once its gone, its gone, like the dodo bird?

  11. JMS13579 says:

@69oneear Actually it has to do with issues about the food rotting before it gets to the hungry countries.

Free markets have done more to end world hunger than anything else, and they are on the brink of solving it. We are going to pay an estimated 350 billion dollars on INTEREST to our debt in 2016 under Obama’s own numbers. The UN estimated it costs about 250 billion to end world hunger…

I see government waste as a huge cause, but of course rich assholes are involved to a degree

  12. mRwhite298 says:

@69oneear where do you find 6 bilion years can you travel thru time to do research NO YOU CAN NOT and this number evry year changing only lie changing definition trying to look like truth you belive in this con artist who inventing numbers and people paying good money for HOAX&LIE for theory that can not be prooven theory that changing from time to time and people APLAUSING all this people before 200 years would be ,locked up in prison for deciving masses they are CON ARTIST

  13. MrIzzyDizzy says:

@mRwhite298 tour last post reflects you disagreement with zeitgeist the movie part 1 – again this had nothing todo with the resource based economy and isnt part of the zeitgiest movement its irrelavent to both- you are yelling at people who advocate a resource based economy about religion – these are two different subjects – watch the other zeitgiest movies and lectures and debate the movement if you want but not on religion which is irellavent to it

  14. JMS13579 says:

@MrIzzyDizzy Theres no doubt socialism helps benefit the poor but at what price is it worth it? We open up a can of worms by doing this.

We give up on our rule of law because the government can now steal from people as long as they make up a cause of what it will be used for.

Then we have to create a giant bureaucracy that is largely recognized as inefficient, even close to worthless, all they seem to do is keep people dependent on welfare.

I just think its done better through charity.

  15. leanlifter1 says:

@MrIzzyDizzy To my somewhat limited understanding and please correct me if I am wrong but the collapse of 08 was solely caused by WallStreet weather it was officially recognized as the root cause or not.

  16. JMS13579 says:

@MrIzzyDizzy Seems like Scandinavian socialism only works because we pay for their military and defense and also because their economies aren’t comparable to ours, nor is their population or geographical size. They spend lots less on beauracracies for welfare, so it actually has good results but I don’t think it works as well here.

The main point is it shouldn’t ever be done by the federal govt, its unconstitutional, if we keep doing this our government cant ever work, it has no legal basis.

  17. MrIzzyDizzy says:

@JMS13579 well 08 was caused by deregulation – repel of glass/stegal which allowed cdos and credit default swaps and othe risky derivatives – see inside job by charles ferguson -if you can find it

  18. leanlifter1 says:

@JMS13579 Capitalism sings the same tune over and over again history has proven this monetary reform is just a temporary guise to make a patch job over the root cause which is money which is not worth anything and represent nothing but lies and debt.We cannot say anything about communism because there has never been true communism just a Capitalistic monetary dictatorship.

  19. mRwhite298 says:

@69oneear YOU BELIVE that i belive in SUN GOD but is NOT and this your false twisted corrupt view is shaped by LIE of zeitgaist mouvie NEW TESTAMENT ARE CREATE APOSTOLES OF JESUS CHRIST IN 1 CENTURY PERSONL FRIENDS & WITNESSES OF GOD AMAZING POWER & GLORY IN SON JESUS CHRIST it is amazing to listen people who think that JESUS is FABLE MYTH no myth or fable would have this kind power to force all world to start measure time in plus from 1 from his blessed birth in stable (JESUS CHRIST)

  20. 69oneear says:

@mRwhite298 The amount of food wasted by westernized countries could feed the entire planet 3xs over.Again big corporations are to blame for this, they have monopolized the food industry, going as far as to buy the intellectual property rights of seeds.

  21. MrIzzyDizzy says:

@JMS13579 i have read hayek mises keynes friedman galbraith adam smith and will look into stiglitz soon – and it may be the best in dome respects – but the scandinavians socialist redistrubutions are probably better – they all have flaws and are passed thier usefulness for the most part – the rbe trumps them all and will happen as the others continue to fail most people

  22. JMS13579 says:

@MrIzzyDizzy Im not saying we can go back to the 50s. Im saying we have made idiotic foreign policy decisions since then which is spending up over half our budget. We have made idiotic economic decisions almost throughout the entire 20th century. We were destined to head downhill from the fifties, but we never needed to have a 16 trillion dollar debt on top of that. The federal government has a role, it just needs to be limited as it was in the past or it ends up ruining our economy like in 08.

  23. 69oneear says:

@JMS13579 Yes I am a big advocate to legalize all drugs, to control them, tax them and regulate them , just like we do with alcohol.80% of all oil by-products can be replaced with hemp. By legalizing drugs, we would also reduce petty crime and eliminate organized crime? Drugs are part of the human culture they have been around for centuries,

  24. mRwhite298 says:

@69oneear WHEN YOU HAVE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY TO FEED why big part of this world is in starvation dying from hunger for more than 70 years world are lied by scientist and look what is in this world CHAOS

  25. 69oneear says:

it is our reality no matter what side of the fence your on. Is it not more sensible to deal with a problem openly, rather than just putting people in jail.We could take the money from the taxes and put that straight into education?
